Storage tents – standard or customized

Our storage tents are flexible in many ways: They can bridge bottlenecks in storage volume or production space quickly and efficiently. If space requirements continue to rise, the mobile tent hall can be expanded just as easily.
Storage tents are not only suitable for short- or long-term storage of goods, materials or equipment, but can also be used for completely different purposes, for example as a temporary workplace. The sheltered environment of a storage tent enables a wide range of activities – be it construction, renovation or manufacturing. Translucent tarpaulins ensure sufficient brightness during the day.

Fixing the storage tent

Depending on the ground, tent halls are anchored either with earth nails or heavy-duty dowels. Since a foundation is not absolutely necessary, tent halls can be mounted directly on compacted gravel, pavement or asphalt surfaces.

Roof covering

Our industrial tarpaulin roofs are not only much more cost-effective than a fixed roof, they also offer a number of practical advantages in comparison: they are translucent and therefore allow plenty of light into your storage tent; they are quick to assemble and can be easily replaced in the event of damage; they are completely reusable in the event of relocation or dismantling of the hall. To prevent sweat and condensation, an inner tarpaulin is pulled in, which is particularly in demand with customers of our industrial halls.

Wall cladding of storage tents

The optimum wall cladding depends on your requirements: Industrial tarpaulins offer cost-efficient weather protection as well as privacy and good lighting conditions in the hall. The robust trapezoidal sheets have a burglar-resistant effect and are ideal for high loads in everyday life. All claddings are of very high quality and maintenance-free. Permissions for temporary buildings (Germany)

In Germany, a storage tent is regarded as a so-called “portable building”, which does not require a regular building permit. Nevertheless, in some cases an execution permit must be obtained. Therefore, one should distinguish between variants requiring a permit and those that don’t. If a storage tents is based on a stable construction and does not exceed a floor area of 75 m², no permission is required. These tents may be set up for three months without a building permit, and for up to 5 years with a special permit (depending on the federal state of Germany). If a storage tent does not meet these requirements, an execution permit is required for the initial setup. This execution permit is documented in a so-called tent book, which also lists the tent inspection carried out either by the municipal building supervisory authority or the TÜV. Custom-made solutions

Classic tent systems typically come in self-supporting widths of 5 to 30 m and an eaves height of up to 6.20 m. Special designs offering increased snow and wind loads or eaves heights as well as individual sizes are available on request. The TÜV-certified statics are designed for long service lives in accordance with DIN EN 1991/DIN 1055 and therefore meet the requirements for the granting of a building permit in various areas (e.g. the North German Plain or coastal areas with wind zone 4).
